REVUE This is a beautifully presented and bound edition of one of the best editions of the Hundred Famous Views of Edo. There may be (slightly) cheaper editions available but they almost certainly reproduce later editions where printers omitted some woodblocks and some of the effects that printers used in the early editions. This book reproduces a very early edition, is bound like a Japanese book, has a great cover, is printed on good quality paper, and is wrapped up in good-looking box with bamboo-like clasps. The notes are brief but provide all the information you'd need to enjoy the prints.
